Personal Care I Caregivers job duties include helping seniors perform light housekeeping tasks around the client’s home, engaging in mental stimulation games, light activity, and social interaction with clients. Caregivers will also be asked to provide meal services which include meal planning and meal preparation services. Moreover, PC I caregivers will be required to assist with personal hygiene including: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, and oral hygiene. Occasionally, caregivers will be asked to assist in mobility assistance which includes positioning and transferring.

Personal Care II Caregiver job duties include all of the job duties of a Personal Care I Caregiver. In addition to the duties of a Personal Care I Caregiver, PC II caregiver job duties will include monitoring vital signs, offering medication reminders, feeding and adhering to special diets, and reporting conditions to supervisory nurses.
